We presume the issue of practically the whole of these in the course of a few months was unavoidable . However this may be, the FLOOD of new issues has out-run the normal buying capacity of the stamp-collecting public and if the sharp reduction in trade orders for these stamps proves to the Colonial authorities that there is a limit to what the public can buy, much good may have been done".
